ADHD Quick Tip: Plan for “wind down” Time Every Evening

One of the best ways to combat the chaos of ADHD is to break your day into what feels like manageable chunks, with intentional rest. This trains your brain to recognize when its time to let go of those wild, reeling ( and often negative) thoughts

Yes, I get it … that’s easier said than done…

you can start by planning a set time that ⬇️slower activities ⬇️Try 7 PM this week!

🐢Examples of slow activities to integrate into your brain train :

  • 1️⃣watching a show on a single device- limit yourself to 1 device

  • 📖read- book, magazine or newsletter- again, limit yourself to this one activity

  • 🫖prepare a craft tea or mocktail- focus on the art of preparation not the getting done part 2 recipes below

🧠These wind down activities will give your brain time to relax and recover. This intentional rest period will not only help you feel calmer but also improve your focus for the next day.
